THE STORY BEHIND COOLMi
COOLMi was born from a simple problem and the big belief that feeling hot, uncomfortable or flushed shouldn’t be something you just “put up with”
We’re an active family of five - from sports fields to beaches and everywhere in between, we get hot. Like many families, our kids used cooling towels after sport, but they were bulky, rough and didn’t really work. They cooled briefly, then lost their effect. The quality just wasn’t there.
So we decided to change that.
We spent months researching, testing and refining until we found a premium lightweight mesh fabric with exceptional evaporative cooling performance. A fabric that activates fast, stays cool for longer, feels soft on skin and actually does what a cooling towel should do... COOL.
That became our first product - The Active COOLMi Towel.
But it didn’t stop there…
We have watched a family member struggle through years of hot flushes, rarely leaving home without a handheld fan in her bag. It is bulky. Breaks often. Draws attention. And doesn’t always help when she needs discreet, immediate relief.
So we created a smaller, discreet version and called it The Pause COOLMi Towel. It’s easy to wear around the neck, is shorter so doesn’t hang over your clothes and is small enough to tuck into a handbag - it's a cooling towel designed with dignity, comfort and everyday life in mind.
Then came another moment close to home....
One night, Little Miss was unwell with a fever. We instinctively reached for a wet face washer to place on her forehead. It worked but in that 3am moment of caring for a sick child, I knew what would work better.
That night, the Care COOLMi Towel was born. A even smaller, compact square towel specifically designed for targeted cooling when comfort matters most.
Today, COOLMi is a growing range of thoughtfully designed cooling towels for real-life, everyday moments when heat relief is needed.
